What's inside

Buvette FC is a full club to run, from the first team to the stadium, in a game that plays a week in one press of Play.

The stadium story

From 3,000 seats to a new arena

You start in a ground of about 3,000. It grows with a small stand extension, a new stand and a major redevelopment to 20,000; then comes the crossroads: squeeze in more, or move to a new arena on a site of your choice, with permits, neighbours and builders. The ground is drawn as it is, stand by stand, with your club's name in the seats, and a museum keeps your records and trophies.

The academy campus

Raise your own stars

A campus of 7 buildings: training pitches, youth coaches, boarding house, scouting network, school, sports science, youth stadium. Each level brings more scouts, better youngsters, faster training or a youth squad that plays the Youth Cup. Youth players get a mentor from the first team, graduates move up on youth contracts, and bigger clubs come poaching, with a sell-on clause if you let one go.

Players

A ceiling, a mood, a face

Every player has seven skills from 1 to 100, a potential he can grow to, his form, his happiness, his traits and a contract. He trains fastest when he is young, starting and far below his potential; he slows down at his peak and declines after it. Each one has a drawn face that never changes, a history of his moves and milestones, and a value the market sees.

Facilities

A ground that earns

11 facilities around the ground: training ground, scouting department, snack bars, bars, club shop, vip boxes, parking, stadium hotel, medical centre, museum & tours, digital studio. The commercial ones earn on home match days and have their own ranges and prices to manage; the training ground, scouting department and medical centre pay back in players. Each has levels, build times, upkeep and requirements, and can be taken down again when it costs more than it gives.

Crests and drawings

Every club looks like itself

Every club has a generated crest on shared rules, every person a drawn face, every ground and building an isometric drawing, every nationality a flag. Light and dark themes, drawn icons, and synthesised match sounds: no images, no downloads.

The long game, in detail

The season and the pyramid

A season is a calendar: four pre-season weeks, 22 league rounds with a winter break, national cup evenings, European nights and three international breaks. The top places go up and the bottom places go down a pyramid of leagues, 12 clubs each. Each of the 6 countries (Belgium, Netherlands, France, Germany, England and Spain) has its own pyramid and its own cup, and their best clubs meet in Europe. Transfers happen in two windows: the summer window through league week 3 and the winter window through week 12.

Matches and tactics

The match engine rates each sector of the pitch, Hattrick-style: midfield, three lines of defence and attack, with your formation, tactic, the weather and the crowd behind them. Six formations, five tactics, a pre-match screen with the forecast and the expected gate, then a report with the goals, the commentary and a rating out of 10 for every player. Your XI stands on a drawn pitch: tap a position to change it, or let Best XI pick it.

Training ground, scouts and medical centre

Your coaching staff comes with your training ground: a better head coach and specialists for one part of the game at each level. The scouting department gives you first-team scouts to send on missions, for a month or up to two seasons, at home or abroad, by role, age and the potential you are after; their reports show a player's true potential. The medical centre heals injuries faster.

Transfers, loans and contracts

Buy from a market sized to your division, or bid for a player at any club; a shortlist and your scouts' reports keep track of who you are watching. Loan players out with guaranteed starts, or borrow from the loan list. Every player has a contract with a wage and an end date: renew in time, or he leaves on a free in the summer. Players who are unhappy ask to leave; a good contract, games and a fair wage keep them.

Money and the board

Weekly statements like a banking app: tickets, sponsors, the shop, prize money and the facilities in, wages, staff and upkeep out. Ticket prices have a fair level the fans accept. The board picks targets with you each season, standard or ambitious, and its confidence moves with results: meet the targets and the budget grows, miss them and an ultimatum follows, then the sack.

Cups and Europe

Every country has a national cup that every club enters. The best clubs of each First Division play the Euro Cup: a league phase of 16 over six matchdays, then a play-off and knockouts to the final. The clubs just below play the Euro Shield on the same nights. Draws are a show, and every round has its prize money.

Your assistant and the news

Club news comes as a chat with your assistant: results with your part of the table, deals with the faces and fees, scouting reports, building work with the drawing, money every few weeks, milestones and records. Messages that need an answer carry their buttons; the kinds you don't want can be switched off. The first hour is a guided tour: three missions, a friendly and a challenge.

Your career

You are a manager, not a club: your reputation grows with titles, promotions, cup runs and targets met, and bigger clubs, at home and abroad, offer you their job. Take one and the new club is yours, squad and budget included. Get sacked and the job market is waiting. Your history, trophies and records follow you.
